Chapter 2 – New Job

Bronwyn stood outside the hospital, this was her first proper job and she felt very nervous.

The hospital was located in the nearby city and required her to get up early to catch the train. The houses here were very expensive and when she was able to get a break she often took a quick walk and marvelled at the impressive structures.

The staff were friendly and Jun one of the doctors was happy to help and advise Bronwyn.

The hospital was short-staffed and she sometimes found herself cleaning floors.

She enjoyed ward rounds with Doctor Jun and felt her happiest helping the patients. She had gone into medicine as she had good grades, but was happy to find that she enjoyed the work, too. No two days were ever the same. With a friendly village and a interesting job Bronwyn felt she would be able to put down roots and flourish.
